I have always enjoyed painting and drawing and I am probably my worst/hardest critic.
I have on many occasions spent hours/days/weeks working on a picture only then to decide that it does not meet with my own expectations and if I don't like it, then no amount of comments to the contrary by others will persuade me otherwise - it will not be made available for public viewing (that means it goes in the bin).
I am generally a bit of a perfectionist, doesn't really matter what I am doing, so the fact that I actually have any finished pictures is therefore a miracle in itself.
As you can see from the photos opposite, I can be very professional when the situation requires, but outside of work I can be a bit of a fool! I don't like to take life too seriously......
I am very much a family man - albeit I am regrettably only a part-time dad.
I like therefore to spend quality time with my children when I have them and I am pleased to say that all my children (I have 3 as you can see from the photo on the previous page) also appear to have inherited my love of and talent for art and we often sit painting and/or drawing together.
They tend to keep the pictures that they do for themselves, but, I do have several examples to hand....
Daniel - Just for you, your picture of Elvis is now published for all to see! Needless to say - this is now part of my private collection and is definitely NOT for sale....
Hannah - Same goes for you, your picture of Victoria Beckham is also now published for all to see. Again, this is definitely NOT for sale....
Erin - If you have any examples then let me have a copy please... This is your chance to display your talents with a pencil/brush....

My wife Michelle and I have ventured into hand-crafted greetings cards, or at least, Michelle has. I deal with the technical issues (website) and assist with design. Michelle actually comes up with the bulk of the ideas and produces the vasy majority of the finished products.
